Etheria is a world of magic that has been invaded by the evil Horde aiming to take down the magic royalty of the realm and claim the entire planet and its population for their own.

Damien is an orphan brought in by the Horde and raised in its broken ideology. He is best friends with Henri, a wolf boy who similarly was brought up in this messed-up culture. However, when one day they go out and Damien comes across a magical sword that awakens his power as He-Ra, a mythical being meant to save the planet from destruction, he realizes that he cannot stay with the Horde. This creates a rift between him and Henri as he separates from the place he once called home and joins the magic royalty who was once his sworn enemy.

He becomes fast friends with Jared, the prince of the nearby kingdom, as well as Isaac, Jared's best friend. they swear to each other that they will save Etheria and take down the Horde--no matter the cost.
