Sweet, caring, bright, and colorful- Asa really lives up to being a "star"!

Mahiru and Sora fought hard to finally have their baby, and almost like a gift of fate, Asa was born. Even during pregnancy, they saw signs that he might be unlike other babies, already understanding rhythm as he kicked in patterns and even reacted certain ways to hearing their voices. Asa was born April 28th, 2:53am...the exact middle point between Mahiru and Sora's birthdays. Asa is a bit unusual for a baby; he rarely cries and he learns and understands things much faster than typical babies do.

During their 10th anniversary, Mahiru and Sora decide to do a more traditionally japanese private ceremony in the middle of woods said to be home to kami. After sharing their vows and declarations of love, they hear 9 month old Asa(who was fast asleep just seconds ago, now upright and alert) clearly say "...Love." The air in the woods shift, and the two are in amazement. There's lots of little things from before his brith to this moment that only cement further to the two that he is a gift of fate.

Asa grows up extremely loved; He's his parents shining star, their baby boy they fought so hard for afterall! He is extremely close to the both of them and grows up very happy because of it. While he enjoys doing everything with both of them, he expecially loves to play with Sora(daddy) because of his natural energetic, goofball energy. When he's really confused on something, he tends to go to Mahiru(chichi) to ask for help understanding it. The three of them love to sing, dance, cook, play dress up/pretend, watch movies and do crafts together. It's a wonder he isn't spoiled honestly...

Asa tends to initially be a tad shy when he meets new people, but he tries his best to talk to others and be social. Growing up, Mahiru was a little protective, having been through a world of pain himself, so Asa doesn't get much socialization outside of their family and family friends. When he gets close to someone though, he really opens up. In general, he wants to lift people up and make others happy, which makes him the go-to teachers helper in school. Due to having father with serious issues they don't hide from him, Asa probably is more mature, responsible and understanding because of it. Later in school when kids figure out that he has two dads, it becomes somewhat of an issue.
