Mystic Ruby

Mystic was a gifted tarot reader as a human, so when her and her sister died, her powers increased tenfold. When she discovered souls could be controlled with deals, she created her own Soul Deck (a tarot deck that traps contracted souls). Since each one of her cards has a unique soul trapped inside of it, every card has a different power based on who’s trapped inside. But because Mystic tries to give her clients a chance, souls can only be trapped in major arcana cards, meaning their powers can only be used to full potential when drawing a major arcana. Drawing a minor will activate the magic, but it’s more an aesthetic display than powerhouse move. Damaging the card lowers the power stored inside, and the soul can escape if too much damage has been accumulated.
