Naomi wants to be the hero that Aether as a world needs, but struggles to fit the role among mysterious murders and straining allyships.

The literal Heart of the group, she hopes to hold out long enough so that she and her companions can see Earth again, but once they leave the bounds of the palace, she finds it harder by the day.

Naomi tries to be as bright and positive as she can, to offset the dreariness of Aether and the continued suffering of her and her travelling companions.

However, the stress of the situation presses on her just as it does everyone else, and as the misery begins to pile, her friends begin to die, and she sees the true plan of the Prophecy unfold before her eyes, she cannot do anything but push forward, lest she lose her mind and never go home again.

The two may have only gotten to know each other in Hell Narnia, but Chester has been ready to back up Naomi since the start, outwardly admitting he thinks she has the greatest chance at getting all of them home.

He's stuck by her from the start, and she's been an excellent leader in his eyes. Naomi doesn't know anyone she could trust more in Aether.

Melissa had always been prickly, but the stress of Aether had made her outright belliergent in her desperation to fulfill the prophecy and go home.

She'd frequently clash with Naomi over how to go about their journey, eventually leaving after an immense fight between her and her two former party members.

Naomi had very little time to get to know Dave before his death, but the two were fairly amicable, Dave believing in Naomi's plans to get home and trying to cheer her up when things got tough.

After his death, she found it harder to go on - both out of fear for her own death, and the loss of an ally..
