Short summary 

Daze is a powerful and authoritative overlord in Hell, In her mortal life, Daze struggled against oppressive control, deemed incapable of making her own decisions by doctors and subjected to infantilizing treatment. This culminated in a violent outburst, that killed one of the doctors. She was killed because of a failed lobotomy attempt.

In Hell, Daze rose to power, fueled by her desire to reclaim control over her life and domain. She is fiercely protective of Hellborns, valuing their loyalty and service, but holds a hardened view that every sinner deserves their place in hell.

Daze's inner circle includes Fish, Styx and Mercedes. Only those are allowed to see her emotions. To outsiders she seems always happy and motivated.
