Official Cheeryland World Map & Locations

1. Nordholme; The northern most point of Cheeryland, Nordholme is a winter wonderland of opportunity. This island reaches out into the sea with icy fingers, and is the home of all winter competitions. Huge seal colonies span the lengthy coasts of the island, whilst elk and moose traverse the dense forests central to the island. Large settlements span the island, home to competent sealers and fishermen who travel to the warmer islands with animal furs and jars of precious seal oil.

2. The Triad; A trio of small islands off the arctic coast of Nordholme, The Triad's islands are home to sea faring folk and their loyal cheer. The islands are curious places, sparse of forest or mountains. The landscape is compiled entirely out of rolling, coastal plains with sandy soil and large dunes. The inhabitants live more or less entirely off of the rich bounty the ocean provides. Cheer raised here are apt swimmers and have adapted well to their diet of mostly fish, and keep a watchful eye on the livestock left to wander the grasslands freely.

3. Heart of Eden; This large landmass is a haven for all life, both flora and fauna. Eden boasts three very specific habitats, making it the most habitable island for all species of cheer to truly thrive. The north of the island stretches out towards The Triad, bringing the island's rolling sand dunes, temperate climate and coastal meadows with it. The south of the island remains in a constant wintery state, due to it's close proximity with Isverden, frozen meadows and treacherous snowdrifts make this an excellent playground for hardier species of cheer and is home to plentiful herds of wild elk. The center of Eden is a green paradise, dense woodland and rolling wildflower meadows attract wild birds, deer and other small prey animals for both man and cheer to survive off of.

4. Isverden; (ice-ver-dan) A relatively small polar formation off the south coast of the Heart of Eden, Isverden is a terribly
perilous biome used to train only the strongest and bravest of cheer against almost inhospitable terrain. Snow storms batter the island 365 days a year, leaving the island in a permanent low light, even blindingly dark during winter months. Polar bears are a big threat here, skilled hunters who have become entirely numb to the awul weather and life at permanent dusk. At current, Isverden is not inhabited permanently by men.

5. St. Briar’s Thorns; Named in honour of one of Cheeryland's best known residents, this mountain range is both perilous and beautiful. Home to all sorts of wildlife, St. Briar's Thorns are best navigated with cheer companions to ward off bears, mountain lions, wild cheer and overly brave elk! Travelers brave enough to tackle the tallest of the peaks will be rewarded with a view more breathtaking than even the wildest of imaginations could conjure.

6. Krona; Attached to St. Briar's Thorns, this deer skull shaped island is appropriately known as the 'Crown of Cheeryland.' Krona is the seat of civilization, vast populations of both man and cheer have thrived off the islands bountiful lands for many generations. The climate is mild all year round and the sea kind to visiting ships, it's forests alive with all kinds of animal species and wild cheer. A twin set of dormant volcanoes split the land towards the southwest, and attract tourist attention from neighbouring islands.

7. Whalebone Island; Cheeryland's third polar island, Whalebone Island is a newly inhabited territory on the Southwest of the world. The surrounding ocean is home to large pods of whales and dolphins, as well as sharks and a plethora of arctic fish species. The treacherous ocean waters are almost unsailable here, and often lead to large ocean mammals washing upon the shores of the island. Those found beached are often rescued by the inhabitants, while the less fortunate specimens are harvested for rare and expensive resources.

8. Timeless Sands; A critical destination in not only magic-bearing Cheer, but also those looking for their own answers. It is a naturally magical place, though mostly uninhabitable and unhospitable land, negating its rare oasis here and there. Those navigating its terrain document the land seems to change overnight, resetting. With treacherous, rocky outcroppings and rolling sand dunes, there is little to be destroyed here and many younger Cheers can be found practicing and honing their magic skills here!

9. Orion's Grotto; Paying homage to the Cheerleader Orion, a huge, cavernous and seemingly endless grotto was discovered on this land mass and named shortly after his sheer stature and honor. The grotto itself can be dangerous to explore among peers much less alone, and many adventure-seeking risk takers can be seen here and along the coast. The northern point of this continent can be a bit trickier on foot once one were to reach its smaller mountain range. Lighter forested areas lay below the northern point, the treeline receding as one would travel down to the double peninsulas, where grassier plains are available before turning to shoreline. The population specifically along the coastline is dabbled with those lured by the grotto's secrets, though their length of stay is usually brief and ever-changing.
