A pride demon who resides in the 7th circle of Hell, known to have tyrannical tendencies. Acts as a pseudo ruler of the 7th Circle, but is ultimately not in charge of anything except for what is basically their own fan club. Though they believe the King of Hell to be a lazy ruler, they do not actively seek out killing him. The two actually get along rather well when they aren't discussing political differences. Kala is slowing building up followers and waiting until the prince, Amir, takes the throne before making a move to truly overtake Hell.
Patient, haughty, selfish, intelligent, willful, charismatic, quick to anger, easily bored, a bit delusional. Has an odd appetite for insects and other small creatures.
Has a number of followers who bend over backward for them. Never has to do anything for themselves, but feels that they're the only one who can get things done right the first time.
Will torment others for fun, but will not go so far as to kill someone who hasn't actually wronged them - that isn't to say that vengeance is not swift and harsh. Uses their power and followers to make a game out of compromises. If one wants their freedom, they may have to perform humiliating tasks or even go so far as to kill a political enemy.
Nobody knows Kala's gender and they seem to have none.
