Crispin was another PTT NPC, who I've.. completely forgotten about over time due to the fact he was never touched upon again.
This is his original bio, as per his PTT NPC sheet:
Name: Crispin Cordwainer
Race: Giant Tiger Prawn
Role: Owner of Crispin's Clogs, the local shoestore.
Backstory:
In a world, where kids are squids and turf wars are popular.. there is one man who doesn't like any of it. Well, ofcourse he doesn't mind the inklings and turf wars, but the dang noise on the radio nowadays, nothing like music from the old days. And those shoes of theirs, like, what ARE those?!
Noticing that in the countryside, people's interest in good ol' fashioned clogs was definitely waning and rather than gaining notoriety was actually becoming less popular by the day, Crispin made the decision to head to the city, and show those dang whippersnappers what good footwear is! Surely, his shoes would fill some kinda niche market, right? There's bound to be some people interested in them..
Except they really didn't. The taste of the youth nowadays, pfeh! So ol' Crispin tried his luck in yet another town, this time finding himself in Cephalo City. Before setting up shop, though, he cautiously decided to check the local turf wars.. only to find the equipment of the battling kids below par. What was this madness?! Even the wooden clogs he made would've been better for the sport.. He decided, then and there, that he'd show these whippersnappers what REAL shoes are, unlike these.. these.. boxes they wore on their feet!
That said though, the old shrimp had to resign to the fact that the youth nowadays weren't interested in his cobbler's art.. so he has made the decision to also sell some.. modern footwear in his store. Shoes, which he has to concede are better than the equipment that was found in the local turf wars now, at least.
His goals, aside from getting people interested in the cobbler's art, now include showing the locals what good footwear is.. and he isn't planning on giving up any time soon on getting Shiro to wear something on her feet already.
