The apprentice star learning from Sunrise, Ray is a worried little goober who is trying his best. He keeps track of AW-0421 as well, and is quite unsettled by everything going on there between Phoenix and Quinzoid and everything else. Knowing that the Sphere would cut off Sunrise once they visited the world with a Hero, Ray stayed behind and opted to continue monitoring the area however they could. They couldn't, and Sunrise's status remained a mystery...eventually leading to Ray searching through archival info on the world in the hopes of finding anything useful about it.
