born with too strong of a magic for her body, her caretakers gave her to a group of people who said they can help her.

They lied.

Months later, Hysi escapes, with a permanment lost eye that she won’t replace with magic as a reminder. A crack in her face, and limbs so damaged that they had to be replaced with glass. Her horns? long since lobbed off.

Years passed, and she wonders the lands alone. But maybe, just maybe, she can find a family… for real, this time.
