Beginnings
Erebus was found tiny, cold and stiff. He was found in the deep of the crystal empire's vast tundra by Princess Flurry Heart while on her bimonthly gem retrieval expedition. She often ventured deep into the cave, seaking gems with energy to provide warmth to her people during the harsh winter. When using her magic to pull a glowing crytsal from the earth's ceiling, light lose dirt tumbled down onto a sleeping Erebus. He was slightly smaller than a healthy newborn foal. Tucked into a corner of that cave, curled into a small shaking ball, left completely and utterly alone. Flurry, being but a teen herself, was shaken with the sight of the little creature. He stirred with a light yelp, but seemingly put no effort put to moving. Then with the princess' ever soft heart, moved towards him with purpose, then wrapped him in her scarf and trudged all the way home. By their return, he was visibly taking a turn for the worst and it was expected that he wouldn’t survive. Eres, however, was going to show them how strong he could truly be.

Personality
Erebus is a quickwitted, kindhearted, windbag ass yoga enthusiast! He is a small town, quiet soul, overnight censation; After releasing music laced with his magic that had a deeply hypnotic sound ponys all over wanted more! This trance like state is described as euphoric and overwhelming, like floating thousands of feet in the air - its molly, basically. He actually never intended to put his magic into music, but his voice, when passionate, is seemingly has power itself! This sudden fame hits him like a storm. All this love, all this approval, he doesn't know what to do with it and he's lost in the pleasures. Deeply rooted self loathing had plauged the boy heavily in his early years, but he has long outgrown them since then! He's definetly not making himself bitesized and digestible!... right?

Equestria runs in a system that honors the liniage of each pony race, each one having a form of royalty or known family. Each one recognized for a special triat or skill that helped form early equestria, House of Sparkle is no different. The sparkle line is new, even more so in comparison to how old other unicorn houses truly are! Starswirl the Bearded's house is a linigae now thousands of years long, spanning generations. The most recent decendents are recognized as Trixie and Twilight herself, they're actually distant cousins! However, the Sparkle line is a lineage started with Twilight that intermingles with the house of Chaus, Discord. Janus, their first born, is the Heir to both, having a heavier lean into harmony than chaos. In correlation, Erebus felt it his responsibility to support his love in his life-long endevor to be enough by pleadging his life to the young prince, an action done in youth and never second guessed.
Janus Sparkle . [Best Friend : Boyfriend : Husband] These two met in kindergarden after Eres was bullied out of recess and took off into the woods. The two have been inseparable since then, finding themsleves in all forms of wacky highjinx and adventures! Their love blossomed over time, it wasnt a surprise to the expectation of most but a surprise to themseleves. They went through a fare share of partners before each other while having secret flings in between (and some not so proud hook ups during other relationships.) However these two are it for each other, all in all, they die together.
