ABOUT
"Trust me - I was there!"
A skeevy little Starlyng who puts the 'green' in 'green with envy'. A confidence trickster who likes shiny things as much as he likes learning all the dark, dirty secrets he can find. His scams have gotten him in hot water more than once, resulting in many injuries to his core. Because of this he has a faulty memory and keeps a thorough journal to help him remember everything he's learned.
PERSONALITY
Jack Of-All-Trades (a name he gave himself) is not to be trusted, unless he's in your debt, and even then you should keep an eye on your valuables. He's not particularly dangerous, being a rather small, scrawny Starlyng without much fight in him, but the webs of lies he weaves are self-serving as a rule, any benefit to others being purely incidental. He's firmly in the camp of all-for-one, and could do without the one-for-all. Despite his unscrupulous & duplicitous nature, he has a bizarre sense of honor when it comes to debt and repayment; he keeps careful track of what he owes to whom. Perhaps this is his own twisted little golden rule: lying, cheating, and stealing is all well and good, but mind your debts if you want them repaid in turn.
And boy, does he have some debts to pay.

GOSSIP
Only the juiciest tidbits of gossip, rumor, and even outright slander grace the pages of Jack's book, and they are doled out carefully. Jack loves his shinies, but he knows the price of knowledge, and treats it with the proper reverance. If your name ends up in his book you can rest assured he'll only divulge your darkest secrets in extreme cases - such as to save his stinking skin at the slightest provocation. He is a coward, after all.
STASHES
The other crucial component - Jack can't keep all his shinies on hand at all times, so to keep everyone else's grubby paws off his loot, he's buried it in various locations across the stars. He keeps the location of these stashes noted down so he doesn't forget, but they're penned in a carefully constructed code that it would take some serious smarts to crack. He's a coward, but he's not a fool by any stretch.
RELATIONS
Jack remains pretty permanently in her debt from all the times she's saved him from the consequences ofhis actions. He's a bit scared of her, but nonetheless sees her as a safe place in a dangerous cosmos.
