Eyes Closed

"Daybreak" is a dragon who prefers to keep everything to himself. He puts dragons through "games" solely for enjoyment and revenge, as he calls it, ― though no outsiders know its him who runs them. He puts on a false front outside of his "games" so nobody suspects him, going by Daybreak and lying about his life story.

"Daybreak's" games were started out of pure spite and hate. After someone injured his sister, he completely forgot everything about himself. His personality changed completely, seeming to hate his sister. But he believe's what he's doing is for her own good ― getting revenge and protecting her from being hurt even more. His "games" are always life or death situations, but dragons always make it out before death is an option. It's not bad if they don't die, right?

Eyes Closed was born into a family only consisting of his mom and dad, before Loom was born a few months later. He was raised in a small home in Starsmyth that was relatively nice, and his family was able to support itself. He was almost inseperable from his sister, as the two did almost everything together.

The two would often play in the outskirts of the city, or the fields in Ltanura. They would never go far from each other, always making sure they were able to see each other (mainly because their parents wanted them to stay safe.)

For the years they went out and played together, everything had been fine. They hadn't gotten seriously hurt, only a few bruises and scrapes from occasional falls. It was all the same until one day Eyes Closed lost track of Loom. He couldn't find her even though he looked everywhere she may have been hiding. By the time he found her, she had been injured. It wasn't something as simple as a scratch that could've been caused by a stray tree branch or a sharp rock, it was something that had been done by another dragon.

This understandably left Eyes Closed in an enraged state. Who could've hurt his sister like this? He searched everywhere until he eventually found a dragon that matched the description Loom had given him. He needed some way to get back at them.

Eventually, Eyes Closed would find a place with five doors far away from Starsmyth, each being able to be remade into whatever he want. The place seemed to have some sort of magic on it, because while it was small on the outside, it could be made as big as he wanted on the inside. He decided to set up four games in the rooms, and one room where he would keep his sister. He kept his sister there out of the fear that she would be attacked again.

By using ads plastered throughout Starsmyth, Eyes Closed was able to recruit dragons into helping him, manipulating them into thinking what he was doing was okay. His first victim would be the one who attacked Loom, having his new recruits kidnap them and force him to play these "games." He would never make it out.

While everything was happening, Eyes Closed seemed to have completely forgotten about Loom. She had been asleep for a majority of the time she was there due to Eyes Closed using magic to keep her asleep. He figured if she was asleep and hidden in the sand, then her risk of being injured would be even lower. She wasn't dead, but was asleep until she was taken out of the room she was kept in.

To not get caught when out, Eyes Closed would take on the persona "Daybreak," who had a completely made up backstor and name. The dragons "Daybreak" hired would knockout and kidnap dragons to play his "games," as he requestd. Eventually they would kidnap a group of four dragons who managed to take Loom out of the horrible situation she was in and help her. Loom doesn't remember any of it or know where her brother is. She just wants to see him again.
