A quiet and rather subdued man with little interest in his surroundings. He just gets on with his duties for the day, no matter what chaos is happening around the facility.
As the Captain of the Records Team, Piper is an efficient leader who gets things done. The to-do list for this department seems endless, with new incidents and discoveries that need to be documented popping up everyday, but someone has get things done.
Personality
Though he's a professional and reliable worker, his dry and impassive demeanor makes for rather poor company. Many describe their interactions with him akin to trying to make conversation with a sandstone brick.

- Though he may be unsociable, there is a big demand for transfers into the Records Team since Piper has been deemed as one of the more competent captains in the company
- He's usually the one counted on to work on the Burrowing Heaven, he won't flinch away from its gaze
- The rare times he has an outburst of emotion are usually attributed to him blowing up on someone for badly fumbling their paperwork
