Being the only kit in her parents' litter, Rosekit grew up recieving much attention from them. She was very loved and didn't have a rough kithood at all, but that led to her being very bratty and egotistical. She often got everything she wanted since she caused a scene when it didn't go her way, but that also led to not having many friends in the nursery as a result. She didn't mind, though. She thought it was fine as is. Rosekit was also one of the larger kits growing up due to being an awfully fast grower, so she would constantly boast about how she was going to be the best apprentice and eventually warrior WhisperClan would ever see.

{ apprentice }

Rosepaw recieved one of the harsher warriors of WhisperClan as her warrior, and she personally found herself a bit annoyed at the fact. She was already the best, so why did he feel the need to boss her around so much? Nevertheless, she still did just fine in her training and was never a pawstep behind. However, one day she ended up getting frustrated with her mentor and snapping at him, even threatening to demand for a different mentor. He did not take lightly to this and exploded in rage, putting her right in her place as he scolded her. He was fed up with the moons of her disrespect and told her if she continued to be a stuck up brat, she would get nowhere in life and have no one to turn to when she needed it most, to sum it up. Absolutely taken aback by this, she went wailing to her parents about it, but even they told her it was time to grow up. Rosepaw was not happy, but her attitude was definitely mellowed out since then. Even if he helped her out in the long run, she still resented him in the long run up until she became a warrior under the name of Rosetide.

{ warrior }

As the conditions in WhisperClan got increasingly worse and more violent, Rosetide began to have her doubts of their morals and confided in her father about it. Yellowtide reluctantly agreed with her, but he'd pleaded that she couldn't speak up on it due to Marshedge's strong and unrelenting loyalty to the Clan. Rosetide assured him she wouldn't say anything, but after murders had begun to take place she told her mother how dangerous the Clan was and informed her that she would be leaving with Yellowtide for safety, and this was her only opportunity to join them. Outraged, she wasted no time telling Whisperstar that Yellowtide was negatively influencing his warriors and putting ridiculous thoughts into their heads, even his own daughter. Marshedge was ordered to kill him as he tried to flee the camp, but she caught him and fortunately made it quick. Rosetide was despaired at this and no longer reached out to her mother, but still seemed supportive and vulnerable to avoid being another one of the bodies. She wasted no time in joining the planning of the uprising as soon as she'd heard about it, but it had failed as everyone knows. One last plead with her mother to come with them as they were driven out resulted in a harsh lash on the bridge of her nose from one of Whisperstar's followers, leaving a permanent scar. After that, she turned and fled with the other fleeing warriors. As they searched for a new home, Rosetide did her best to keep her spirits up since this was obviously a new thing for everyone, and a group of moping cats did no one any good. She found herself closest and most in support of Rainflight out of the three group leaders, and showed her unwavering support as she led off her group of cats to create FrostClan. It worked out for her in the end, as she was eventually promoted to her deputy.
