Kai

Kai is a part of a species called Cantarix, a species that shares many traits with vampires. Kai has no memory of his parents, and in early childhood was taken into a secret group of hitmen/assassins. One day, he made the mistake of boarding the wrong boat, leading him to the kingdom where he met his now friends; Isaiah and Jonah. 

He's quite social and can friendly towards others, although he develops a rivalry with Isaiah and will go out of his way to do things that would annoy or scare him. Despite his species being a natural predator of Jonah's, he makes an effort to resist uncontrollable hunting instincts that can sometimes overcome him due to being a cantarix.
