Hoovies is a pony from Ponyville with a couple of issues here and there. Reserved, and a bit aloof at times when it matters most. She can be quite wild and unpredictable at times. Though she'll usually stop whenever someone calls her out on it, she's self-conscious and worries about what others think of her.
Mixed with a shy yet outgoing teenager's personality, she can be somewhat awkward at times mixing up her words or stuttering. When she's with family though, she's as relaxed as ever, almost too relaxed. She's very messy with no courtesy when she's her most comfortable state.
She's good at math, but she is terrified of doing anything with that skill because of her fear of social situations. Other than that, she works a part-time retail job and creates plushes for herself and her friends. She also has a bit of a knack for drawing; though she doesn't do it that often. It's rare to see her draw but when she does she always does her best to make it as good as it can be!
As time passes on, Hoovies eventually works up the courage to use her skills to take commissions creating cosplay costumes. It gives her a lot more extra income and she enjoys doing it.. even if she has to talk to other ponies. Who knows, maybe she will find a dream related to this hobby if she can't get the confidence to pursue something in math.

Velvet Heartstone (Friend): One of Hoovies cherished and close friends. They became this way after Velvet helped Hoovies out of an overthinking anxiety spell in less than five minutes--a feat that no pony else was able to do.
