She's part of my bf's oc universe. Where your soul essence let's you control something known as Aura, powered up by the bonds you make. The more bonds you have with people the stronger you are. She can control hers to manipulate sound waves with her guitars. The lower a note is, the less coordinated but powerful the sound is, going out as a shockwave. And the higher it is, the more coordinated and precise it is, like a honing shot.
Some facts:
- The sweetheart of the town she grew up in. Started out playing music on her guitar to the homeless kids and eventually started doing street music for the whole town. They watched her impromptu concerts every week.
- Grew up with her dad and was introduced to guitars from him. He's a retired military veteran.
- She had to learn to play herself, though. Mostly did it from books and old videos from a library nearby.
- She always went around town looking for various jobs to find money for a trip to get an electric guitar. Most of them were labor intensive, which is how she built muscle and balance.
- Has two younger twin brothers. Who simultaneously make her life harder and adore her. She's always playing exclusive songs just for them. And teaches them music herself.
- Found out about having aura after some thugs jumped her brothers.
- She didn't reveal it to her family at the beginning, and tried practicing on her own.
- But after accidentally collapsing half a building her dad sent her out to search for a mentor. He doesn't know about aura himself, but he was aware about some clans and that they practiced it.
- So she went on a journey across the country and found a couple of teachers. But never stuck with one. And finally got herself an electric guitar.
- Doesn't seem like it at first glance, but she is very sweet. Just pretty sarcastic. She loves learning and teaching herself, especially music.
- Can seem pretty air headed and she does doze off a lot, but she is usually always listening.
- She carries a big case on her back at all times, and inside she carries both an acoustic and electric guitar, plus any other gear she might need. The electric guitar doesn't need any amps with how she plays it.
- Her guitars and case are very loved, and very potent with aura lol. They look a lil beat up, but that's from how much they've been used. (She always keeps the strings fresh and new) They're the only ones she carries with her, but never minds when someone else wants to try playing them too (but only with her supervision).
In canon she settled down at a school after finding a particularly powerful aura user, and learns under him.
