Odeta

Personality: Odeta is a strong-willed and positive go-getter sea demon who is always prepared for a challenge. Literally. There's never a day where you can see her just sitting still. No matter the task given by the royal Killick family, she's always happy to help. This gives her a reputation of being everyone's big sister.

When Orabel gets kicked out onto land, she's rather worried at first but is also secretly relieved since Orabel gives her too easy stuff to do.

Backstory: Odeta was born as the eldest sea demon of three in a rough spot underwater. Due to the difficult conditions, she had to put on a lot of muscle to defend herself and her family. This strength gave her a good rep for tasks of strength like being a spotter, bouncer, etc. When her parents retired from work, Odeta knew she had to take responsibility for bringing in money for the family.

One day, she was hired to be a bodyguard for another sea demon like her. Unfortunately, what she didn't know was that the one who hired her was actually an obscure criminal and abandoned her at the scene of the crime. She ended up getting wrongfully framed, arrested, and imprisoned. In front of royalty, she insisted on telling her story and fortunately for her, they ended up believing her. Mainly because they caught the original criminal. 

They decided to give her a second chance by assigning her the job as bodyguard for.... none other but the royal sea demons themselves! Her greatest achievement was being hired at age 24 yet she was more than happy to help deliver the youngest sibling, Coraline. Because of this, she grew closest with the little princess. 

Six years later, she's still working for the royal family and occasionally goes above on shore to check up on Orabel and the farm.

• She has a petty reason to dislike Orabel. It's because as the laziest sibling, Orabel gives her the easiest tasks to do (like fetching snacks) and she hates doing easy things. She likes having more of a challenge.
