Tonka

Character Info

Tonka is a particularly large female of her species. Nearing elderhood, her claws have grown to an impressive length. 

Species Info

Extraordinarily tall, the species used to be able to fly but they eventually evolved to be too large to carry their own weight so now their feathers/wings are mostly used for insulation and display purposes.

Extremely territorial towards all large carnivores and herbivores. Tolerates smaller species as long as they stay out of the way and don't compete with food sources. Has difficulty preening feathers because of their large teeth so small birds are welcome to keep them clean of mites. 

Omnivore, mainly eats fruit and insects but will occasionally scavenge from carcasses left by other predators.
