Once a prodigy, now a monster...
He was once the prodigy of a hidden village who homed Satyrs. While hidden it was widely known for producing strong warriors and botanists. Of course disaster striked and with a small crew of the village's finest Az and them went to go combat a strong foe, but it was too strong and the crew abandoned Az to save their own lives. Despite him defeating the enemy his mind was never the same afterwards. His body took on a darker appearance and has come across unknown knowledge.
"I am well aware of my tragic actions, and for that... I cannot be sorry while my being is in this state of existence."
He is very aware of his corruption over time and feels a twinge of guilt for not being able to feel remorse for the lives he's taken as he remembers his early days before the dark being in Gavel became a threat to his village. Seeing his reflection for the first time in a few hundred years humbled him.
