First Life
The first incarnation of Gothi was as a Succupuss - half cat girl half demon. She was my first tattoo.
Second Life
Then she became a black cat. A witches familiar who longed to be human. While her owner was away she got into the spell book and did something wrong. She became a catgirl. Half human half cat.
Third Life
The witch abandoned Gothi, who over time began to become more and more furred over. She went from a black cat to developing white spots, and a white heart on her bum to outwardly show her loving nature. She became a black and white tuxedo cat.
Fourth Life
Over time Gothi realised she was depressed due to the actions of the witch and other characters in her life. But she began to work on this, and as she did colours began to show in her fur. She found out she was actually a race of magical storytelling cats known to humans as "Cheshire Cats". They were pathfinders, waygivers and advice givers. Protective and loyal to those who would cross their path. Their advice usually wasn't clear to begin with and often didn't make sense and sounded like riddles or nonsense. This is because in their world, up was often down and left was often right. She fell in with a crowd that helped her true colours shine through and has been this way ever since.
Cheshire Kittens are born with spots and stripes and usually move into one or the other which shows where in this wonder land they might roam. Gothi kept both due to the magic from her time as a witches cat and her ability to stay looking young.
