Sassy and thoroughly cunning, she's not one to waste time on stupid things...most times. Most of her time would be spent mulling and planning for survival, what to do and what to avoid, who to be trusted and who not to be.

If she has any thoughts or concerns, she'll make sure it be known. Were there a problem or simply thankful of what someone did for her, she'll make her gratitude known. Her outward aloofness doesn't equal to avoidance and secrecy- in fact, she's very much the opposite.
Her composure and gaze takes notice what others may overlook. Carnation has a good eye for detail. Where she's going and what's around her, whether alone or followed, the state of the people around her. It's just something she's used to keep in mind.
Carnation is soft-spoken and it directly mimics her actions for the most part. Careful and attentive, to people and to objects. A pot of a dying plant will be carried with the same care as a flourishing one..

Any task she's given will be taken and done seriously. Based on the prorities throughout the day, no matther what tasks stack up, she will make sure it gets done in a timely manner. She has a good sense of carrying her weight and not half-assing her efforts.
She could be a bit overbearing if something you're doing smells like trouble. If someone doesn't seem to be good company, she would be directly against you hanging out with them no matter what. If it comes down to it, she could be nothing short of intimidating to others who mean harm to the people she loves..
With her watchful eye and mind, she tries to keep her and her sister out of trouble. Always picking the safe option, never the risky ones no matter just how fun it would be to try and find out.

Once she's set on an opinion, that will be the one and only she will have in that regard, and it'd be very difficult to change her mind. With enough convincing, if you're lucky, you might make her consider her stance.
Her outwards nature does not equal to friendliness or companionship. When it comes to dire situations, it's a sure bet she would be prioritizing her sister and herself's safety over any other else with the two of them. No matter the form and severity of danger, if there's ever any need to bail, she will be making sure a way out for the two of them first thing without caring what it means for others that would be left behind.
While she does try to stay out of trouble...she can't help but be easily annoyed at those who test her nerves, at which point she won't fight the desire to make a witty remark or two about the other person to their face, aiming to hurt them with words.
