Anatole Helianth is one of the few humans actually living in the Valley and a proficient gardener. He lives with his daughter Sunflower, and focuses quite a bit on raising her and the plants they grow together.

Anatole grew up in Valleytown with a constant restlessness in his bones. He always had to be on the move, always had to do or find something new. One of these discoveries being an entrance to the Valley, something he never shared with anyone, not even his sister. Eventually, he moved out of the town, choosing to live in the Valley full time. Nowadays, Anatole lives in Phytol with Sunny, sometimes sending letters to his sister back home. He spends a lot of time in his garden, or watching over Sunflower and their friends when they're around. He's pretty happy with his life, though he hasn't seen Cynthia in years.

Anatole is a pretty energetic guy. He loves keeping himself busy with his plants and his daughters or whatever tasks he's given himself for the day. He's very open about what he thinks and feels, and that includes things he doesn't like or what he thinks of people. Still, he knows when it's better to keep his mouth shut. He's stubborn and works very hard once he's got a goal in mind, often needing to be pulled away from his projects.

Cynthia is Anatole's younger twin sister, something he constantly teases her about. He spent nearly every day with her, shared almost every secret with her, sun trusts them completely. He hasn't seen moon in years now, and he misses her greatly, despite their frequent communication.
Sunny is Anatole's daughter and the light of his life. He's raised her for a good few years now and he couldn't be happier with his little flower. He'd do anything for her and her happiness, and at times can be a bit overprotective of her. He loves teaching her everything he knows about the plants they grow together.
