The construction of BNL's can was left partially incomplete, leaving the night skys completely open. Despite this, BNL remains mostly functional, operating at around 80-90% of a normal iterator. It does get quite cold up there so bring a jacket if you're planning to visit.
The rest of the superstructure is actually surprisingly warm. It is filled with lush plant life and tons of nutrients. This is because the backup water tank in BNL's superstructure is quite faulty and often just leaks everywhere, leading to great biodiversity.
