Cillian de Estevao Henriques Rosario, (age 26), is an avian male with a love for plants, streetfighting, and his family. He was born in Santarém, Brazil, where he lived until he was 12. Currently, he works as a hairdresser to pay for his bills and support his brother's schooling.
Early Life
Cillian's early childhood was a fairly happy one. His earliest memories were of sunny days at the park with his mother Atria, and watching or helping her cut and work with her clients' hair. Quintus, his father, was usually gone for work, so Cil didn't see much of the man but his mother's attention and affection more than made up for that.
Shortly before he turned 6, his little brother Philoxenus was born. At first he was very unhappy about having to share his mother's attention and affection. Phili and his babbling was nothing but annoying to Cillian, especially with how much the baby seemed to like him and always wanted to be with him. By the time Phili was 2, however, he'd grown on Cil considerably. Cillian was both fond and protective over his baby brother, Atria describing them more than once as, "two peas in a pod."
When Cillian turned 10, Atria developed a rare, terminal cancer and passed away all within the span of a few months. Her loss left the small family reeling. Quintus had no knowledge in child-rearing, and in turning to the bottle to cope with his wife's loss, his anger issues quickly made themselves much worse. Cillian quickly fell into the parental role for Phili, and kept them both away from Quintus as best he could. A kind, elderly neighbor gave them a place to crash sometimes when home was particularily unsafe. After two years of this, Quintus came home one night very drunk. He threw a broken bottle at Phili, and Cillian took the younger and fled Brazil that very night.
Biography
Teenage Years
With no small amount of help, Cillian and Phili were smuggled into America through one of the drug cartels and registered as citizens. In return, they were expected to join up and serve the cartel for life. Cil saw through that though, and as soon as he had their papers he took Phili and ran again. For the next few years, they bounced from place to place as they evaded both the cartel and child protective services. Cillian learned to deal drugs and street fight to earn money, and on occasion sell his body. He hated that with all his being and only used it as a last resort, but it was all worth it to keep Phili in as stable of a school system as he could so at least one of them would get an education.
For much of his early teen years, Cillian called an abandoned warehouse home. It was actually pretty nice, with a huge willow tree growing through a hole in the roof. Once he was 16, he rented an apartment under the table for he and Phili to live in, and it gave him the first sense of stability in his life. When he turned 18, he started working in 'safer,' legal jobs at Phili's instance, though he would still deal and fight at night since they paid better. Cil was a bit of an adrenaline junkie as well, and had built up a dependence on such dangerous nightlife.
Early Twenties
After hopping around from job to job for a while, Cillian found himself working at a flower shop. It was the first job he’d genuinely enjoyed, much to his surprise, and he learned he had a love for plants. His apartment was soon overflowing with plants, much to Phili’s amusement. He first met Adore through his job, when the larger came in for a bouquet of Mother’s Day flowers. They ran into each other again at a street fight and a rivalry was born. Adore was like no one Cil had ever met before, creating feelings of loathing, jealousy, scathing fondness, and begrudging admiration in the bird all at once. A tension grew between the two that turned sexual at some point, and after multiple one night stands they even became something of friends. Cillian wasn’t sure when it happened exactly, but Adore grew into his first-ever best friend.
About a year of being friends through thick and thin passed (with a healthy dose of playful rivalry still there of course), and Cillian realized his feelings for Adore had turned romantic somewhere along the line. He was both too stubborn and too scared to admit that at first, but after watching a particularly hard fight of Adore’s and caring for his friend’s wounds, the truth came tumbling out and he was more than a little surprised to learn his friend felt the same. The two started dating soon after.
Cillian’s life continued to go uphill from there, from watching Phili’s progress in college, to moving in with Adore, and even starting to attend a beautician school at Adore’s insistence. Cil fondly remembered helping his mother with her hairdressing business as a kid, and had always enjoyed doing his own hair since then. Having no real formal education himself, the day he graduated was the happiest of his life. Getting to work in a profession of his choice was an amazing feeling as well.

Always having been one to get riled up easily, Cillian is a spitfire by nature. He isn't one to back down from a fight no matter who his challengers are. Stubborn to a fault and fiercely loyal to his friends, there's nothing the bird won't do for his crew. He puts his all into everything that he cares about, and is often exhausted by the end of the day (or early morning, being the night owl that he is) because of it.
Cil is also a bit of a lone wolf. He prefers to keep to himself more than anything when he can get away with it. Though he has a bit of a weak spot for kids who are in hard positions, other adults are more easily overlooked and ignored. He's been known to succesfully bullshit his way out of more than one situation, though he relies more on intimidation than likeability.

- Flying, which is the best way for him to relax and/or calm down.
- Late nights with clear skies.
- Flowers and gardening, which he usually can't get enough of.
- Westerns, both books and movies. They're a guilty pleasure.
Dislikes
- Reading and writing, which is almost impossible between his dyslexia and nearsightedness.
- Cooking - he's an absolute disaster in the kitchen and could probably burn water.
- Messy bedrooms and personal spaces.
- Betrayal and false loyalty, which are the ultimate sins in his eyes.
Trivia
- He used to read Western dime novels, but between the dyslexia he doesn't know how to cope with and his worsening nearsightedness (he refuses to get glasses again after the first pair broke), he gave up on reading.
- Cillian usually talks at a normal-to-fast pace with a hint of a Spanish accent, but his words get faster and his accent thicker when he's flustered or upset. When he's extremely angry he starts speaking Portuguese without usually realizing it.
- Cillian dyes and cuts his own hair, and is very proud of it. He always keeps it clean and well-cared for, and generally fusses over Phili and Adore’s as well.
- His wings are very expresssive and often move about with his emotions. It's something he doesn't like all that much and gets easily embarrassed about.
Relationships

Younger brother to Cillian, Philoxenus has been his primary drive to keep going and fighting for a very long time now. Cillian sees him as an odd mix of younger brother and son all at once, and while he wouldn't give Phili up for anything, raising his kid brother when he was still a kid himself has left him with his fill of raising children for one lifetime. Though they have their fair share of arguments and scuffles, Cillian still loves Phili completely and would die for him without question.

Boyfriend to Cillian, Adore is what keeps the avian grounded most days (especially when Cillian is ready to just throw in the towel and say damn the world.) Adore has helped Cillian in more ways than even he realizes, and become part of the bird's family in return. Loyal to Adore to a fault, Cillian loves him with every ounce of his being, even on the days they argue.
