- Very shy and bashful, and doesn't have a whole lot of confidence in herself. She does try her best to be nice to people, though. Her idea of "being nice" is just bothering people as little as possible. Not the type of person to tell the cashier she didn't want pickles.
- Is fine with pickles, though.
- Quite good with following algorithms, which leads to some proficiency in stuff like programming, so long as you aren't asking her to innovate too much. Has accounts on forums like Stackexchange and stuff and goes around helping people troubleshoot their code. She does this as a hobby, pretty much.
- Very easily entertained. People keep making puns about her name and no matter how much she hears them she finds it as funny as ever.
- Hates it when people try to do anything ritualistic or whatever at her. Never brings up her divinity. Sort of just lives in a random nondescript house and never goes outside because she doesn't need to. She can't hide her appearance any more than just turning bipedal, so she usually wears a hat and baggy pants or a very long skirt if she has to make a public appearance for visits to the DMV or whatever.
The goddess of creation has appeared. She's a lot less inspiring than you thought she'd be.
The Ultimate Muse, the Dreamer of Dreams... Hweihwa's been called a lot of things, and thanked (though often indirectly as she doesn't like making her existence known) for the beauty of human art. She, however... is an absolute tasteless oaf, with no ounce of creative power whatsoever. Her secret? She's carrying all of humanity's experience - all the world's joy, sorrow, pain, pleasure - with no chance of ever being free. She's a beacon of white light, shining with all the spectrum of the rainbow but no colour of her own, and wholly overwhelmed by her own mind. It's like a tiny room filled with literally everything: You know you've got it all there but you can't make use of anything, and with how much stuff that's piled up in the room, there's no hope for it to ever be sorted out. The memories and knowledge she keeps, however, source the world's inspiration.
Due to her curse/sacrifice, she's completely devoid of opinions on what art is, let alone what's good or bad art. She can't like or dislike anything, or even tell you what a piece of artwork means. And don't even ask her to make anything even remotely original - she neither wants to, nor she can.
Despite the shitty situation she's in, though, she does try her best to enjoy the world - she's adopted a mindset of "art for art's sake", appreciating art for the sole fact it exists - she's happy her contributions have been put to use! She also does have a rudimentary understanding of morality, and sees things that make people happy as good (like a very crude form of utilitarianism, though she doesn't care as much about number over intensity, or in other words, a single person who is very, very happy is providing more utility than a lot of people who are only mildly happy). So go on - create just to create! Even if you didn't put any thought into it, you'll make her day :)
TRIVIA
- The only art piece she's known to like is Arthur O'Shaughnessy's Ode. It's unknown why it's this one in particular.
- Is able to swap between her centaur (foxtaur?) and bipedal form at will. Usually sticks with the centaur form since she finds it more comfortable, but usually goes on two legs if she plans to make a public appearance.
- Based on a ball-jointed doll I have! I bought her as a full-set so the design isn't 100% by me, but she's meant to have a separate identity from the base full-set design.
- Yes she is named after a League of Legends character. (Yes I named my first resin BJD after a LoL character.) I didn't know what to name her so I asked a chat for inspiration, and someone said she looked like the character in my pfp (which was Hwei from LoL). Couldn't come up with anything better and unironically it kinda fits.
DESIGN NOTES
- Feel free to draw either her bipedal or centaur form! I have no preference.
- You can draw her with doll joints! She doesn't have them usually but if you would rather reference the image of the IRL doll, feel free to do so.
