Misma is quite small, though it is densely populated. It has a very controlling royal family who will outcast anyone who doesn't abide their laws, or simply anyone who they think doesn't fit in. There is a capital city in the center that is filled with plants, buildings, international trading posts and, mostly, very happy people! Everyone born there is gifted with a small amount of elemental magic, though whether or not they can learn to harness it properly depends on the person. Anyone who fails to fit the criteria that the royal family deems necessary will be considered an "outcast" and banished to the "outer-ring"

⥁ The Outer-Ring

The outer-ring is a large mass of land that sits around the capital in a ring shape. It's made up of thick, red, thorny forests with abandoned landmarks scattered without. It's not hard to stumble upon other outcasts while trecking through it (if you, for some odd reason, happen to be there other than for being an outcast yourself).

⟡ Magic Classes and Races


Misma is inhabited by two main races; Humans, and Swampfolk. Swampfolk are essentially fish-people and are perceived to be smarter, and make up most of the Royal Family that controls the land.

There are 11 magic classes and it is perfectly natural to be born having some kind of power related to one of these classes. Though you can be born knowing only one, it is possible to learn others (although it's quite difficult, not to mention expensive.)

The 11 magic classes are (in order of most common to most rare):

Botanokinesis: The ability to manipulate plant-life.

Aquakinesis: The ability to manipulate water. (More common in swampfolk)

Geokinesis: The ability to manipulate earth (mainly dirt or mud, though very strong Geokinesis can move the ground itself. Also common in swampfolk).

Pyrokinesis: The ability to manipulate fire.

Aerokinesis: The ability to manipulate wind.

Cryokinesis: The ability to manipulate ice.

Electrokinesis: The ability to manipulate lightning.

Ferrokinesis: The ability to manipulate metal.

Photokinesis: The ability to manipulate light.

Umbrakinesis: The ability to manipulate darkness/shadow.

Omnikinesis: The ability to manipulate anything and everything that exists, organic or created. (This is more of a myth than a thing that actually exists.)
