Adaline is nurturing, but fearfull esk. She was transformed when she was running away from her captor, who inprisoned her as his wife in a castle in the middle of Black Forest. She is fearfull of humans and some esks, especially the bigger ones. Once she chooses her person she carefully learns to trusts them and so far only has a good relationship with her creator Brie who was gentle with her when she found her.
Adaline lives in the middle of the Black forest in a dark forest ruins. The ruins were once a castle and its surrounding city. But Adalines presence has made the area inhospitable and eroded the area untill it was covered in vines and foliage and thick forest trees. The castle is made of stones.
