- Although tribal letters are important identifiers for Miqo'te, Ioh will almost always introduce himself without one; this is mostly because he considers himself to be an outcast from both tribes.
- His tail has been stunted in its growth; as a small child, he used to worry it, usually by wringing it or pulling at it with his teeth or hands.
- His heterochromia is not naturally-occuring. Though it’s unknown what caused the damage initially, the only damage (the lighter hue) is simply cosmetic and doesn’t seem to hinder his sight in any way.
- C’ioh has been through several ‘profession’ changes, including but not limited to; thief, pirate, goldsmith and freeloader.
- He’s based off of a Sand Cat, a small breed of wild cat that inhibits rocky desert biomes.

Having left his tribe at an early age, C'ioh grew up in the backstreets of Ul'dah, and then in Limsa Lominsa; his accent and way of speaking is a mash of both, and can be quite difficult to understand at times.
The tips of his ears are missing, and the skin has been cauterized. There is also a significant amount of scar tissue on his chest.
C’ioh has a materia socket in his chest, made of gold and mythril. It is currently empty, but he can socket materia as though it were armor, drawing on its strengths and attributes to aid him in combat. (Light- Medium strength).
