Stagstar was the wise, respected leader of Shadowclan previous to Emberstar. Originally Stagstorm, he was a fearsome warrior. Size alone had him standing out in the battlefield as he was the largest cat in the clans. It was no surprise when he was promoted to Deputy then Leader. As leader, Stagstar led Shadowclan to great prosperity. He was never interested in a mate or kits so when the prophecy of Emberlight taking his place on day arrived, Stagstar spent a lot of his time training his new Deputy. He grew to appreciate the smaller cat and when the time came for her to gain her lives, Stagstar was there to give Emberstar her final life (Trust). He will be remembered in all of the clans for many generations to come.
