Emil

[Born and raised in Stow-on-Side, with Glimwood Tangle to the north and the mysterious town of Ballonlea, he’s always had a fascination with fairy-types and their unusual abilities. He’s tried exploring the forest numerous times to learn its secrets and potentially catch a fairy pokemon for himself, but has only fallen victim to the pranksters and gotten lost. He’s worked for years simply as an assistant to the shops in the town bazaar--mostly moving cargo, but occasionally manning a stall while the owner was away. (He is not a good salesman.) When Team Fable came through seeking a guide into the local ruins, he was eager for a change of pace and chance at adventure.
Under their employ, he was trained to identify artifacts, at least as far as to know when something “looks important”, on top of his time in the bazaar among the archaeologists, antiquers, and treasure hunters alike. After one job tasks him with claiming an old parchment during a ruin dive, he walks away with a curse, and garners a little too much attention from his superiors in return. On the heels of feeling endangered, when they start experimenting on him he gets his shit and runs as fast as he can. He flees to Hulbury, pickpocketing a cruise liner ticket from an arguing couple and rides the ship to Alola, where he later meets Liz and is subsequently adopted into Team Skull.]

Mimikyu's name is Q, but also responds to QQ, Cookie, Mick, basically any weird noises Emil makes at her with his 'you're just a baby!!' voice. She sounds like an Enderman and gutted a Pokedoll when they arrived in Alola as her new disguise because Emil loves fairy types so much.
