Physical Description

Medium athletic build, dark red hair (buzz cut), deep blue eyes, pale skin, light facial hair. Long sleeve           shirts and jeans when in civies.

Mental + Emotional

Angry, discontented, eager to prove that he knows what he's doing. Ian has always been someone with something to prove. Even if he were the best in the world at what he does, he'd think inwardly that he could be better. But he aims to never show that insecurity, as he knows that at the least he's very good.

Speech

Irish accent. Multilingual (English, Russian, Gaelic, Arabic, French, and Italian as well as Latin). In speech, he's quite laid back. Words are weapons when used properly.

Powers

Expert military combatant trained in close-quarters-combat and martial arts, excellent marksman, trained in Stealth OPS.
However, his skills exceed what he was taught by others, and he has sought out unconventional means of combat out of spite for Brice's antagonizing and to embrace the call sign 'Cobra.' His incisor teeth are sharpened and hollowed out to contain a mechanism that releases a deadly amount of neurotoxins upon a bite: It shuts down the nervous system and paralyzes victims, and without antivenom, the fatality rate from his bite is 100 percent.

Relationships

Brice Bachenhall- former teammate; the two aren't on speaking terms anymore. But if you were to ask anyone where Ian was, Brice would have an answer.

History

As a youth in Dublin, Ian grew up with emotionally distant parents that divorced in his late teens. He doesn't remember much of his actual childhood, due to a lot of abuse on his father's side of the family. He began to pursue a military career in his early twenties, where he was recognized as someone of "extraordinary skill" and was recruited into a Special Operations team in Leinster. It was here that he learned the military wasn't the picture of right that he'd pictured. It was ripe with corruption, but he also recognized that it was a force to use in the "pursuit of right," as he calls it. During this time, Ian sought a broader calling, and took on vigilante missions that were not approved by the Irish government. But his actions were ultimately looked over by officials, due to the allies Ian made within his unit, and the "higher ups." It was on one of his many successful rogue stealth missions, in Bangladesh, that earned him the call sign "Cobra" by his Unit. Which later inspired him to fashion his incisors into effective weapons, making him a feared opponent in more ways than one. He gained a reputation across the UK for unorthodox methods.

However, with all of his accomplishments, Ian is unsatisfied with the outcome of his actions. Nothing seems to draw a real sense of accomplishment. Corruption always seemed to multiply and escape his grasp. The mission is never over, and it weighs. It drives him to keep going, to keep taking them out. But its like wiping the windshield off in the rain. This point of view lead him to have a disagreement with his unit's second in command, Brice. Brice strongly believed that politics and military forces were going to work out the kinks wither order in due time. Ian considered it unrealistic. He believed in a more vigilante justice. The two constantly differed in opinion; especially on how to execute missions. Their arguments drove a wedge between them and their team causing the overall cooperation to break apart, and ultimately the team split off from the two and a new commander was put in charge. Ian was moved to a more solo act and rarely interacted with Brice. Though Ian was initially disappointed that he couldn't get Brice to see his side of the story, he started to care less and less. He still had his reputation as 'Cobra' and so long as he maintained it, things would turn out fine in his eyes.
Presently, Ian has joined the Diamond Dogs to put his skills to use with a team he hopes will turn out differently than the last. Though he mostly keeps to himself and doesn't really socialize like he used to. He's trying to figure out what he truly wants.

Beliefs

Ian grew up in a Christian family, but rejected the idea and became Agnostic in his late teens. Religion is a confusing thing for him. He leans toward what he considers a more realistic set of morals; quite literally "modern problems require modern solutions."
