Komi lives in a modern day world in what seems to be NYC! He currently lives in a studio apartment right next to the cafe he currently works at!

Present Day

Komi meets a couple of people in the art program at school that he ends up befriending! They both eventually ask him to join them in making music after finding out that was something Komi used to do. Komi declined many times but ended up agreeing because of the cash prize if the group placed in the Live!Fes. Regaining his passion for performance during the moments leading up to their stage appearance and even after. His self image shines the most during this time, his confidence builds up quickly and returns back to his energetic & charismatic persona! He decides to become a permanent guitarist in StarStruck. His relationship with Moon also improves after finally coming to understanding & forgiveness!

Background

Komi grew up just outside the city with his mom and step sister (Claudia). As far as family goes, he has a great relationship with his mom and Claudia! He never met his biological father and he isn’t really in touch with his step dad much though. Claudia, being much older than he is, has always been a huge inspiration to Komi! He definitely picked up his love for music from her. Their living situation was pretty tight but comfortable! Claudia and komi shared a room but they never seemed to mind! Claudia would only stay every other week so it wasn’t permanent. They grew up liking the same things and Komi never got into any trouble so they never fought. Komi's mom worked long hours so a lot of the time she came home pretty late. Komi lived right next to his school so it was pretty easy to walk there and back! He wasn’t exceptionally great at his studies but he was pretty average! Yuui was his first and only friend for a while ! Their moms both knew each other so it was easy to get along with each other. Yuui wasn’t into a lot of the same things Komi was into but he didn’t really mind listening to Komi talk about his interest! Yuui and Komi pretty much stayed at each other's house after school to study/ play games since both of their moms were late night workers. Yuui eventually had to move out of the country so komi entered high school alone. Since he was by himself for the first half of the first year, he was definitely a target for being picked on. Komi was never one to be confrontational so he just let it happen up until he met moon, who ended up sticking up for him. While helping komi retrieve his things, he noticed komi having a keychain from his favorite band in which moon explains his similar interest for the band. The both of them pretty much clicked right then and there and became inseparable ever since. They had very many things in common, which was new to Komi! Around their sophomore year they both decided they’d make music together for fun. During this time, Moon taught Komi how to use the guitar. Moon composed the music and wrote the lyrics, komi was the one who did most of the singing and designed the outfits/ costumes (very inspired by visual kei). They uploaded their music to social media and to their surprise they got pretty popular around their 5th single after being noticed by their favorite artists! They were strictly online based at the time and didn’t do any shows, no one at school seemed to really notice what they were doing either so they never ran into any issues! Until it came time to graduating high school and deciding what to do afterwards. They both wanted to create music but Moon wanted them to move to the city and contract with companies, Komi wanted to just stay online and have them be independent artists. They argued often about the topic, once graduated, Moon decided to break up the duo and sign with companies independently, pretty much cutting all ties with Komi for not supporting him or what they had together. Komi was really hurt about Moon leaving, not because he wanted to pursue music but because Moon let the idea of fame & money consume him to the point of accusing Komi that he never cared or supported him, especially Moon leaving without ever saying goodbye. Word got out pretty quickly about their duo band breaking up after an interview with moon and because of moon’s phrasing Komi was flooded with negative attention on social media. This definitely put Komi in a pretty rough spot. Instead of Komi immediately going to college after highschool, as planned, he took a year in between in order to focus on himself. He deactivated all of his social media and just stayed home.
