Raised in an Eastern Kingdom, Archibald has been surrounded by royalty and luxuries all of his life. His mother, King Raymond’s sister, was always overprotective of him, and tended to shelter him from the harsher parts of the world. Because of this, he does not know much about nonhumans, but what he does know is misinformation that has lead him to be scared of them. During his early childhood, he got most of his education from personal tutors that would come to the castle. However, when he reached the age of 13, he tried to convince his mother to let him ward at Solveil. With help from family in the kingdom, he was able to convince his mother to let him continue his education in a new environment. She had a condition, however, which was that he had to come home after a certain period of time.
During his education in Solveil, Archibald was taught by King Raymond himself, alongside his cousin, Maybelle. Raymond often described the boy as “the son he never had.” After Maybelle’s death, though, the King became reclusive, and kicked Archie out of the castle. He now has to move into a nearby noble house in order to stay in Solveil.
