Eli lives the picture perfect American life in the quaint countryside of Elkhorn, Vermont, USA. He's raised by his mother and father, alongside his older twin brother, Jude. Together, they all live within the margins of middle class. Eli currently attends 7th grade at Elkhorn Middle School. His best friend is Gavin Baxter, alongside their other two friends Jace Foster and Liam Perry. A coming of age story where the group slowing comes to terms with growing up and making the transition slowly from kid to teenager to adult.
About
Eli is a surprisingly sensitive boy, whose much more likely to express and show how he feels than one would think. On top of that, he's a terrible liar, so he always feels like his back is against the wall and everybody always knows his business. Don't think he's a total angel though, Eli is still a young boy who hasn't fully developed social awareness, and can often get himself into trouble with mouthing off or doing something insanely stupid- as expected of a middle school aged child. He's easy enough to convince to go along with dumb schemes, much to Liam's delight.
Family
Eli lives in a household of four total, alongside his parents and twin brother. His life is rather balanced, between absolutely loving his family and othertimes being absolutely ashamed of them. Despite being twins, he doesn't get along too well with Jude, the two often fighting or otherwise trying to put the other down. His mother says his father hasn't fully matured, and can sometimes end up getting as carried away as his kids in silly antics, much to her displeasure. Still, the family is close and it's usually lively in the home.
Friends
Being born in a small town means knowing nearly every single person in that town, which is no different in Elkhorn. Eli has known his friends since he could first make memories- especially Gavin, who is his next door neighbor. The two have always been close and are the definitely best friends in the group. That's not to say that Jace and Liam aren't beloved in their own ways. Liam is often the self-appointed leader, convincing them to try new things and going on adventures. Jace is the most relaxed of the group, often time following along for the fun of it and just coming along for the ride. You can often find any combination of the four boys around town, probably up to no good. Despite this, they're not serious troublemakers and don't mean any harm.
Trivia
- Eli is surprisingly good at theater and singing, as he discovered from being in drama.
- Eli is slowly expressing a desire to learn music, to go along his singing- most probably guitar.
- Eli is the younger twin brother of the Daniels twins.
- Eli has a massive crush on Mei, though it seems everybody knows it. Even Eli knows they all know.
- Eli lost his first kiss to Jace- they failed the fake kiss on stage as prince and princess... in front of everybody.

Gavin Baxter [ best friend ]
Eli's best friend since they were just toddlers. Gavin definitely keeps Eli grounded in reality, keeping him from doing anything too stupid that the others convince him to do. On the flipside, Eli helps Gavin relax and actually enjoy things, even if it can cause a little mess or get them in some trouble. It's rare to see one without the other when the friends are hanging out.
Jace Foster [ friend ]
Jace is a solid friend whose go-with-the-flow attitude makes him easy to get along with. He rarely fights with anybody- and if he does, you really pushed him. On the flip side, he's easy to convince trying to do stupid antics that the others would generally say no to. Eli isn't aware of it yet, but Jace is going to alter the course of his life at their 8th grade graduation.
Liam Perry [ friend ]
The troublemaker of the group who loves his adventures and antics. Liam has a fiery spirit and can't seem to ever sit still. Danger doesn't dissuade him, and the others have to fight tooth and nail to get him out of really stupid situations. Still, without Liam, there's a lot they wouldn't know or experience. That's not to say Liam is experienced in life, either. Eli can get irritated with Liam, but he can't lie... they have some fun times. If only he'd shut up once in a while.
Jude Daniels [ older twin brother ]
You're more likely to find these brothers fist fighting than getting along. The two irritate each other to no end, with Jude often getting the upper hand on his twerpy little brother. Eli is infuriated by this to no end, and it's not unusual to see the two punching each other. At school, the two never hang out, either. Jude has his own group of friends. They can be civil when they're forced to be, at least.
Mei Zhao [ crush ]
The girl who Eli's had a crush on since elementary school. The two get along great, but Eli can't seem to get the courage to speak up. Even worse, he knows that she knows- and so does everybody else! Still, he insists on admitting it himself. Mei is incredibly sweet to him, and the two act like they're a couple when together much of the time. One day, he'll have the courage to admit his feelings to her!
