Evelyn Carter (Kaiju)

Evelyn is a student that was transferred to UA in hopes that she can learn to control her quirk.

Her quirk is called Chimera. When she feels any extreme or intense emotion, positive or negative, she turns into a monster made up of the body and back legs of a lion, the arms of a crocodile, the head and tail of a dragon, and the wings of a peregrine falcon. The more intense the emotion, the bigger she becomes. Her height limit is 45ft. When her quirk is activated, she blacks out and the monster acts on its own, usually causing chaos and destruction in its path. She does not remember what happened when she calms down. The monster usually walks on all fours but will occasionally walk on its hind legs. The monster is also able to breathe fire due to being part dragon. It has a chamber above its stomach that folds flammable liquid, it can bring that liquid up at will and can light a spark in the back of its throat, setting the liquid on fire and breathing it out.

Because her quirk is only activated when she feels a lot of emotion, she trained herself to show little to no emotion and control her feelings, She comes off as very aloof and monotone because of this. She is constantly meditating and telling herself calming affirmations to avoid her quirk activating. She hates her quirk and refers to the monster as an "it". While she doesn't remember what the monster does, she has seen images and video of it and it makes her ashamed and angry that she was stuck with such an awful quirk.

She is from Canada but was sent to Japan by her wealthy parents to enroll in UA. She is apart of Class 1A and is friends with Todoroki, Tokoyami, Hitoshi, and Jiro. She has a little sister that she adores. She strives to take control over her quirk after an incident where she lashed out and lost control when her sister annoyed her. She never wanted to see her sister fearful of her again.

Her personal style is slightly hippie. Her dorm room has many calming things in it.

She never gave herself a hero name since she never wanted to be a hero, thinking that her quirk is that of a villains, but due to the monsters large size, her classmates named her "Kaiju".

During her Internship, she learned how to take control of her quirk and no longer black out. Extreme anger and stress still make her lash out and lose control, but she’s managed to transform into the monster at will and control its size while also staying calm.
