Chai is a well-known face amongst the area. Having a started up a career in music and occasional modeling. Though this sudden boost in attention and admiration, has made xem obsess over numbers and appearance.
Chai seems to think very little of those around them, even proving hypocritical when bragging about themselves. Despite stating xe can't stand when others do the exact same.

Chai comes from a family of impressive achievements, xer parents, for example, are famously known for their professional swimming careers. Winning a handful of competitions before they retired to raise Chai. So it's no wonder that xe would strive for stardom aswell, to continue the legacy of the Mayne family.
Unfortunately being raised in a pampered lifestyle, gifted with whatever xe wanted and not being able to make friends with other kids unless xer parents approved of them; Chai is insensitive, inconsiderate, and can be blatantly rude. The only person, outside of their family, that they truly care about is Xander. But even he gets his friends and brother judged. Deep down though, Chai just acts to impress xer family.
