Rookbeam was a loyal and well respected warrior for Gale Clan. Some cats weren't fond of him because of his strict personality, but he didn't mind that.
Things changed for the worst when tragedy struck. A fire broke into camp. Many cats died. Rookbeam managed to run away, while saving a few apprentices and a kit. After escaping, Rookbeam and the young cats found the newly formed Moonlight Clan, who allowed the cats to stay for as long as needed. Once things settled, Rookbeam found out Gale Clan was basically dead, as most of the clan died in the fire and the ones who didn't abandoned the land.
While heartbroken over losing his clan, he decided to move to Moonlight Clan, mainly so he can keep an eye out for the apprentices and kit, and maybe to help teach more about the Warrior Code.
