Ziegenblod

Ziengenblod initially started as a bestial war metal duo project that would consist of Verstümmeler (Typhus) and Getbalsamerare (Brim) in 2008, but would eventually delve into a goregrind project towards late 2010’s (2017-18 to be exact), and would change the band name in the process (which would be Liechensektion). What compelled these two forces to make such hateful and nefarious music was quite obvious: taking some lyrical elements from their band Kieveit, and Typhus’ taste for war metal. But when it came to reconstructing Ziegenblod and turning it into a goregrind project, that would remain a mystery. 

A dirty fact that Ziegenblod would be known for is going to either slaughterhouses or sneaking into morgues to pose with the dismembered limbs of human or animal corpses, to use for promo pics and at one point for their first full-length. And these were, to no one’s surprise, Ty’s idea (Brim just rolled with it). 

The project then would dissipate into nothingness in 2020 due to Brim officially starting a family and having that and working, gave him no time for Ziegenblod. As for Ty, there was little to no motivation flowing in the music making process and also focused more on work. Together they came to a decision to call it quits, and disbanded.
