C-RYU

C-RYU is playful, a little self-centered, and gullible. He likes to put himself as someone 'better than the usual idol', referring to himself as a star and trying to perform various stunts to prove himself. However, he is extremely self-conscious of himself - and when he takes the sudden fear of his own name much harder than he expects himself to, tries to cover up that fear with mixed success. Despite his self-centered approach, his heart is in the right place, and he often helps others who are down on their luck. 

Background

C-RYU is the Dragon Zodiac Idol that was meant to launch in New Years 2024 in World Flipper; however, because the game ended service prior to this, C-RYU was not released. That said, we are able to glean a couple of things through the character notes, where his name is mentioned in several places:

• C-RYU is a Local-type idol who came to Mirea Kingdom during a festival that was meant to increase the popularity of the rural kingdom. The prior year Zodiacs (Noeinne, Beaucy, etc) were also present at the time, and thoroughly defeated him in musical combat when he arrived. 
• As C-RYU introduced himself to the people of this world, he learned that many of them cowered in fear of his name. This was because C-RYU sounds like 'Shiryuu' - another name for the Origin Dragon. It was easy to create rumors of what his namesake would bring.
• Eventually, Shouta and Nova are able to convince him to continue using this name. C-RYU vows that he'll turn this name around, and soon enough, when people hear the name C-RYU, they'll think of the Star that will provide hope and happiness to the world.

• 3: [Main] Resonance [Light], when a Light Character has 1 or more levels of [Idoryuu's Blessing] and that character's damage ability activates, that character consumes 1 Level of [Name Here] to end the Cooldown of that Ability / [Main] while a Light character has 1 or more levels of [Idoryuu's Blessing], that character's Ability Damage +50%
• 4: When battle begins, own skill gauge +50%
• 5: While a Light character has 1 or more levels of [Idoryuu's Blessing], that character's Atk +30%
• 6: While a Light character has 1 or more levels of [Idoryuu's Blessing], that character's Ability Damage +40%

Other Notes

• Core Medley is the fan translated name of the dragon who's by his side. Being a Cosmic Beast, she provides C-RYU with idol power, and is known as an 'Idoryuu' - a kind of dragon previously unheard of until she and C-RYU's arrival.
• C-RYU and Core Medley's idol unit name is IDRA
• The game files mention that C-RYU is a Light Attribute character. It is unknown what meta he would fix, but I like to think he would have helped Direct Attack teams (a playstyle light characters wanted to capitalize on more lately, but needed another kick to continue forward). 
• C-RYU both has a city and rural dialect - it is not specified what they are, but I imagine him generally speaking with 'hip city lingo' with a side of 'country bumpkin' every now and then.
• One time I roleplayed him in a murder game. It was great!
