Biography

For Jay, most of his life has been spent jumping from place to place, with his early childhood spent in and out of the foster care system. Jay was only 12 when he was adopted by family friend and county sheriff James Keller, raised in rural Nevada. However, this arrangement didn't last long, with sheriff Keller perpetually treating Jay as a potential criminal like his father. This treatment led to a deep rift which only grew worse with time, leading to Jay leaving home entirely at age 16, moving in with friends instead. Ever since, Jay prefers not to "dwell" on the past and has troubles opening up about his issues, instead preferring spontaneous distractions.

Currently, this is the longest Jay has ever settled down, feeling comfortable with his current group of friends. He works happily at a club downtown, managed by Thorn, who has an exceedingly high tolerance of his antics. In his free time, Jay enjoys hanging out with friends and practicing acoustic guitar. His current friends and relationship has lead to the healthiest he's ever been.

Carefree and relaxed, Jay is a very easy-going person who loves being at the center of attention, regardless if it's from strangers or friends. He can usually be found showing off and making others laugh, often getting himself into trouble as he tends to act impulsively and not consider the consequences. While he's charismatic to most, these immature antics can come across as obnoxious or irresponsible to others. When upset, he tends to back off and keep quietly to himself, rarely getting angry.

Since Jay highly values the attention of others, he has a difficult time being alone and understanding boundaries, which often comes across as needy and insecure. Despite this, he has issues with trust and doesn't like opening up about his feelings.
