Personality (wip):
-with a gentle voice, aina is hardworking to a fault; she gets very restless when she has nothing to do, so she always keeps herself busy.
-sensitive to emotions, but needs to learn to cherish her own more. this is something she acknowledges and wants to work on.
-she’s seen as a positive person to those who don’t know her well, trying to be upbeat for the sake of who's around her.
Ideas (cw medical trauma):
- knew the twins at the orphanage, because she used to play near the orphanage and met them. she was an outsider but was “like them” after she told them her parents kept her inside all the time and that she was currently sneaking out. but she stopped showing up one day, and the twins didn’t know it was because her parents had begun using her for experiments at one of alter trigger’s research facilities that they worked at.
- her parents kept her entire existence a secret, which was why she also liked hanging out with nayuta and kanata because at the time, when they looked at her, she felt happy. she felt like she was seen for the first time.
-”your existence doesn’t belong to just you, you’re here to help others; you understand, don’t you, aina? that's why we're using your body for the sake of helping people."
- sells hip hop compositions for money, is popular and well-known. always accepting new works, can be hired to compose. if she stops working, she feels the pain of her own thoughts + emotions and becomes restless as a result so she likes to keep busy all the time.
- self-conscious about her heterochromia which is a permanent side-effect from the experiments.

- because she focuses a lot of her life around composing music and doing various projects, she still feels as if she’s losing her sense of self; although, she says she never had it in the first place.
- scared of phantom lives truthfully, very wary of them.
- her true identity of ‘kurosawa’ represents the murky way her parents lived, forced her into the darkness all alone because she didn’t have a right to live. empty, and not allowed to fill herself with anything.
- still suffers from guilt of living her life, when she’s been told she’d not allowed to do that; plus, her friend who sacrificed themselves for her.
- aina's vague sense of self winded up mirroring nayuta's final thoughts before "that moment", although his had that connection to kanata whereas she actively didn't have anyone.
- the twins were the ones who chose aina’s birthday for her. it was the day they met. she told them that she didn’t have a birthday, and they explained they don’t celebrate theirs, so why don’t they just give her one if she wants one so badly? she can make it today. so it became march 12th.
