Appearance

Diana is an older dark skinned woman with brown hair and steel blue eyes. She has shoulder length braids that she keeps up in a ponytail. Diana's faunus trait is a brown dog tail.

Weapon - Golden Bough

Golden Bough is a rifle-bladed polearm hybrid. It mecha-shifts between the two forms. Being a weapon designed in the early years of the technology, it cannot shoot in its pole-arm form. 

Personality

Diana is a no nonsense woman. She's a strict mother that does her best to raise Cress right and keep him in line. Diana is very family oriented and tends to dote on her both her son and husband. She can be quite foul mouthed at times--a personality trait from her younger and edgier years. Diana gets really bashful and shy when people compliment or say nice things to her. A quirk that Cress inherited. 

Semblance - Lunar Affinity.

A semblance that can only be activated under direct moonlight. Her eyes glow and she gains a boost to her five senses, strength and durability. She's not in control of how much aura goes into her semblance so she becomes a little more vulnerable due to a weaker aura shield.

History & Trivia

Diana was born Diana Estelle in Menagerie to a merchant and a member of the Menagerie guard. Her and her twin sister, Artemis were raised in a loving home. While her sister chose to stay in Menagerie and take over the family business--Diana made the decision to become a huntress having been inspired by her mother's combat prowess. She trained day in and day out while doing oddjobs around Kuo Kuana to afford everything she needed to attend a combat school. 

Diana would attend Haven Academy at the behest of her parents. They felt that she would be safe under the watchful eye of Leonardo Lionheart who was also a faunus. She would go on to become a huntress of some fame after becoming the first faunus to win the Vytal Festival Tournament. Some years after graduating and traveling with her team, she would meet Oliver Bluebell in Mantle and fall in love with him. Cress would be born after the couple's marriage much to the dismay of Oliver's family that held old fashioned views of faunus. The couple would elope to the city of Vale after Oliver was cut off from the family fortune. 

• Diana is a goddess in Roman and Hellenistic religion,  primarily considered a patroness of the countryside and nature, hunters, wildlife, childbirth, crossroads, the night, and the Moon
  
• Her twin sister Artemis is a reference to the fact she's the Roman equivalent of the Greek goddess.
• Diana is a dog faunus because being a patron saint of hunting--one of her symbols is a dog.
• Her maiden name, Estelle means Star. 
• Her family are named after things related to outer space and stars if it weren't obvious.
• A Bough is an arm or branch of a tree, esp. a large arm or main branch.
