Okay so what if:
There is that one cool scientist on Copper 9, she's nice and creative and leaves her normal work, takes some drones and starts her own living place. She rebuilds the drones, gives them more personality and makes em cool [placeholder name "fashion drones" but i'll fix that]. Even after the core collapses she's smart enough and protects the "bunker". Or maybe no, maybe she's dead idk. But anyway, that bunker is just a heaven on earth, those drones never heard about any danger or anything. They sing, perform, play games, stream and live their best life. Untill.. yes :) more lore soon
