Nyloth Zolorel

The only son to the lesser House Zolorel - responsible for a small forestry business. His House is located in a smaller, less accessible area of the Underdark, where there's more flora than people. As such, he grew up with a bit less of the overwhelming control of formal drow society, and grew much closer to his family than most other males can say. When officials did occasionally visit his small home, his family would hide him away while they negotiated.

One day (in a way I haven't yet fully thought out yet lol) he gets noticed by a female drow of a higher House somewhere across the Underdark map, and is sent a group of armed guards with a missive requesting (read: demanding) his hand in marriage to her, along with a threat to end his House should he not comply. Knowing his family has no means of protecting themselves against the higher House's armies, he packs his things and goes with them.
