Astraea was born in Seaside Brook, a small fishing town that didn't get a lot of traffic. Her mom passed when she was young and she never really got to get to know her but she was very close to her father. She didn't get to hang out with him too much either because he worked as a fisherman, he would often be gone for weeks at a time and she would have to stay with a friend. but despite him being gone all the time she wanted to be like him. She was inspired by how good of a worker he was and wanted to own the business just like he did. She did get that wish eventually but not how she expected. her dad was on a trip to the tundra and on his way there they hit a particularly bad storm, he was flung off the boat and was never seen again. Astraea left all of his stuff and also the business. At the young age of 17, she had to learn how to run this company and start going on the boat. She had to drop out of school and lost contact with a lot of friends. she got pretty good at doing business deals and the business was flourishing, but she was very sad, she felt like this was a punishment of some sort and she was just in a cycle of doing the same thing day after day. One day she was opening a new account with a fishmongery from her hometown. There she met a man named Poseidon. he butchered and sold fish, and she found him rather annoying, always high energy and positive/ she would have to deal with him weakly when she had to drop off fish to him and he would always talk her ear off. She started to get talking to him and her cold and short replies would eventually turn into some short conversation. One day when she got back from her week on the beat there Poseidon was standing, with flowers, and an invitation to a date. Astraea didn't know if she wanted to go but she did anyway because it was a nice thing to do. and it would turn out he was sweet and got her smiling. She went home that night and was sad, but not for her normal reason but because she wasn't near him. She looked forward to seeing him on her weekly times back and eventually, they started hanging out on weekends and finally, she asked her to start dating. At 26 they got married and now she is 31 and still misses him when she's gone. They bought a house together and have a golden retriever.

Astraea is a pretty streight forward person. she is fine with confritation, if someones trying to push her over she definatly wont let it slide, but she also has buisness charm where she can comprimise with people in a way that makes all parties happy.
