Supposedly was assigned to vault 4 before a fallout with his then wife, stuck with the constant reminder of what was supposed to be forever on his skull. Radiation tore the skin from his face and is deteriorating his ears. Perceived as evil due to his desire to live, but he is one of the more merciful creatures you will meet if you’re stranded in the wasteland. Soft spot for animals.
