The only child of Akie Gotou. She looks up to her and wishes to help wherever possible in hopes that her mother will love her more after. Transformed into an artificial Pretty Cure working with the corporation that defeats the monsters secretly generated by them in order for the company to look better. After a fateful conversation with the main team, she decides to expose Akie’s lies in a public celebration made to commemorate her deeds towards the end of the series. Gets offered to join the team, but declines and gives up on her Cure powers completely.
Signature colour is white, age is 15 (year 3). Rina’s birthday lands on April 11th.

Halcyon Purification
Targets the previously-known weak point of a Proponism monster and changes its form to the original concept with a beam of light.
Relationships:
Variida and Banto: two interns who take turns summoning Proponism monsters. Both secretly pity Rina and only wish for her success independent from her mother.
Name Etymology
Rina: 莉奈 (Japanese Kanji) りな(Japanese Hiragana)
From Japanese 莉 (ri) meaning "white jasmine" combined with 奈 (na), a phonetic character.
Gotou / 後藤
後 means "after, later."
藤 means "wisteria, fuji (Japanese plant with purple or white flowers).
