When Auryn was tasked with reclaiming the Forsaken Isles from the fiendish cult that infested it, he was given the instruction to find adventurers capable of navigating the harsh seas and overgrown wilds. He reached out to a few, but it was Captain Orizonte who eventually agreed to assist him - after being promised a sizable treasure for their time, of course.
The Captain prefers to say very little, and doesn’t consider himself a follower of Auryn. In fact, he’s rather skeptical of the whole concept of “benevolent” gods. But they had a profitable feeling about working with the god of treasure.
While they could change their form to resemble almost any humanoid, they really don’t. Instead, they just alter the body type of their persona to suit their whims.
